Reaction Steps

A 3 ml ethanol suspension of 100 mg (0.23 mmol) of the compound obtained in Example 31 was heated to 50° C. to form a solution. To this solution, 15 μM (0.23 mmol) of methanesulfonic acid was added, and the mixture was heated under reflux for 10 minutes. Then, the reaction mixture was brought to room temperature, and the solvent was distilled off under reduced pressure. Ether was added to the residue, and solids were collected by filtration to obtain 101 mg (83%) of the captioned compound.
