Reaction Steps

To a 4 ml 1,2-dichloroethane solution of 200 mg (0.46 mmol) of the compound obtained in Example 30, 100 μl (0.92 mmol) of methylamine (30% methanol solution), 146 mg (0.69 mmol) of sodium triacetoxyborohydride, and 26 μl of acetic acid were added, and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 6 hours. Then, water was added to the reaction mixture, and the mixture was extracted with chloroform. The organic layer was washed with water and a saturated aqueous solution of sodium chloride. After the washed layer was dried over anhydrous sodium sulfate, the solvent was distilled off under reduced pressure. The residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography (ethyl acetate/chloroform/methanol=10/10/1) to obtain 176 mg (85%) of the captioned compound.
