Procedure
To a 1 ml ethanol solution of 43 mg (0.0848 mmol) of the compound obtained in Example 238, 1 ml of a 1M aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide was added, and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 2 hours. Then, the reaction mixture was distilled under reduced pressure, and the residue was dissolved in water. Acetic acid was added, and precipitated solids were collected by filtration to obtain 21 mg (52%) of the captioned compound.
