To a solution of (S)-tert-butyl 3-(7H-pyrrolo[2,3-d]pyrimidin-4-yloxy)piperidine-1-carboxylate (60 mg, 0.18 mmol) in 1,4-dioxane (2 mL) was added 4 N HCl in 1,4-dioxane (2 mL) and the reaction mixture was stirred for 30 min. After completion of the reaction as indicated by TLC, the reaction mixture was concentrated in vacuo to give a residue which was triturated with ether to give (31 mg, 74%) the titled compound.
