Procedure

20 μL of acetyl chloride was added to a solution of 90 mg of 2-amino-N-(4-chloro-3-(pyridin-2-yl)phenyl)-4-(methylsulfonyl)benzamide in 2 mL of pyridine at 0° C. The reaction mixture was allowed to warm to room temperature and stirred for 2 h. The reaction was quenched with MeOH and evaporated. The product was purified on reverse phase HPLC to yield 2-acetamido-N-(4-chloro-3-(pyridin-2-yl)phenyl)-4-(methylsulfonyl)benzamide. MS (Q1) 444.0 (M)+.
