A solution of benzyl [2-{[(4-{(3S)-3-[(tert-butoxycarbonyl)amino]piperidin-1-yl}pyridin-3-yl)amino]carbonyl}-7-(1-hydroxyethyl)quinolin-3-yl]carbamate (0.100 g, 0.156 mmol) (from Example 15, step 7) in DCM (0.50 mL) was mixed with a solution of Dess-Martin periodinane (0.099 g, 0.23 mmol) in DCM (0.50 mL, 7.8 mmol). The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 18 h. The crude mixture was diluted with DCM and washed with aq. NaOH. The organic layer was dried over Na2SO4, filtered and concentrated under reduced pressure to give the sub-title compound (100 mg, 100%). LCMS calc. for C35H39N6O6 (M+H)+: m/z=639.2. Found: 639.2.
