Procedure

This example illustrates synthesis of CF3SO2NHSO2F by the reaction of trichloromethane sulfonamide (CCl3SO2NH2), thionyl chloride (SOCl2), chlorosulfonic acid (ClSO3H) to produce CCl3SO2NHSO2Cl intermediate, and fluorinating the intermediate with anhydrous hydrogen fluoride (HF) to produce CF3SO2NHSO2F.
