Reaction Steps

To a stirred solution of the product from step (a) (0.13 g, 0.56 mmol) dissolved in DCM (5 ml) at 0° C. was added DIEA (0.12 ml, 0.67 mmol) and benzyl chloroformate (0.095 ml, 0.67 mmol). The reaction mixture was allowed to stir at RT for 1 hour. The reaction mixture was diluted with 1N HCl and extracted with DCM (3×). The combined DCM extracts were washed with brine, dried (Na2SO4), and solvent evaporated in vacuo to give the crude product which was purified by flash silica-gel chromatography (gradient elution: 0-40% EtOAc in hexanes) to give the sub-title compound as a colorless oil (180 mg). MS: ESI (positive): 372 (M+H).
