4M HCl solution (in Dioxane) (5 mL) was added to a stirred solution of tert-butyl 4-(5-((R)-2-(2,5-difluorophenyl)pyrrolidin-1-yl)pyrazolo[1,5-a]pyridine-3-carbonyl)-2-(hydroxylmethyl)piperazine-1-carboxylate (150 mg, 0.276 mmol) in Dioxane (2 mL) and stirring was continued at 20-35° C. for 4 h. After which the reaction mixture was concentrated under reduced pressure to afford the crude product. The crude product was purified by Preparative HPLC [Column:LUNA-C18-250*21.2 mm, Mobile phase-A: 0.1% TFA in water, B: ACN, Gradient (Time/% B): 0/30, 2/30, 10/60 and Flow rate: 20 mL/min] 110 mg of the title compound.
