4-[2-(1-tert-Butoxycarbonyl-1,2,3,6-tetrahydro-pyridin-4-yl)-4-cyano-phenyl]-3,6-dimethyl-2-oxo-1-(3-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-pyrimidine-5-carboxylic acid ethyl ester (example 15.10) (35 mg, 0.06 mmol) is suspended with aqueous trifluoroacetic acid (95%, 2 mL). The reaction mixture is shaken for 15 min, evaporated and the product is purified by reversed phase HPLC. Yield: 7.2 mg; ESI mass spectrum [M+H]+=525; Retention time HPLC: 0.56 min (HPLC method X018_S01).
