To a 7 mL vial was added 3-chloro-N-(cyclopropylmethyl)-1-(pyridin-3-yl)-1H-pyrazol-4-amine (0.124 g, 0.500 mmol) (prepared according to the U.S. Publication No. 2012/0110702), DMAP (0.183 g, 1.50 mmol), 2-(2-oxopyrrolidin-1-yl)acetic acid (0.143 g, 1.00 mmol), EDCI (0.240 g, 1.25 mmol) followed by CH2Cl2 (1 mL). The reaction mixture was stirred at a temperature of about 25° C. for 18 hours before it was purified by silica gel chromatography (0%-15% MeOH/CH2Cl2) to afford the title compound F98 as a light yellow oil (0.131 g, 70%).
