The title compound was prepared in analogy to the procedure described for intermediate 10 [(4S,5S)-4-(((tert-butyldiphenylsilyl)oxy)methyl)-5-(4-methoxyphenyl)oxazolidin-2-one] from (4S,5S)-4-(hydroxymethyl)-5-(4-(2-methoxyethoxy)phenyl)oxazolidin-2-one and TBDMS-Cl to afford after purification by column chromatography (using EtOAc in heptane from 5% to 50%) intermediate 11 as a light yellow oil.
