4,4-Dimethyl-7-{2-[(1H-pyrrolo[2,3-b]pyridin-3-ylmethyl)-amino]-benzoylamino}-3,4-dihydro-1H-isoquinoline-2-carboxylic acid tert-butyl ester (Step B, 0.45 g, 0.86 mmol) was treated with 10 mL of 1/1 TFA/CH2Cl2 solution and stirred at RT for 1 h. The volatiles were removed under reduced pressure and the residue was purified by flash column chromatography to obtain the titled compound as a white solid. MS (ES+): 426.1 (M+H)+.
