Methyl 2-(4-(4-(trifluoromethyl)phenylamino)-7-(3-chloropyridin-2-yl)-5,6,7,8-tetrahydropyrido[3,4-d]pyrimidin-2-yloxy)acetate (52.0 mg, 0.1 mmol) was suspended in MeOH (10 mL). NaOH (100 mg) and H2O (3 mL) were added and the mixture was stirred at 60° C. for 10 min. Solvent was removed, residue was dissolved in water, dilute HCl aqueous solution was added until a pH of 7 was obtained. Extracted by EtOAc, dried over Na2SO4 and the solvent was removed in vacuo, product was obtained as a white solid (47 mg).
