Procedure
1.3 g of Z-Gly-Asn-Leu-OMe are dissolved in 100 ml of methanol with warming and the solution, after having cooled to room temperature, is hydrogenated in the presence of 0.3 g of palladium on charcoal (10% Pd). After completion of the hydrogen uptake the catalyst is filtered off and the filtrate evaporated to dryness. 760 mg of H-Gly-Asn-Leu-OMe are hereby obtained in an amorphous form.
