Reaction Steps
4,4-Dimethoxy-L-proline methyl ester (1.35 mmoles, 0.257 g) and 2-[5-[2-(2H-tetrazol-5-yl)phenyl]-1H-benzimidazol-1-yl]octanoic acid (1.23 mmoles, 0.5 g) were reacted in the presence of hydroxybenzotriazole and dicyclohexylcarbodiimide as in Example 15 to yield 0.220 g of 1-[1-Oxo-2-[5-2-(2H-tetrazol-5-yl)phenyl]-1H-benzimidazol-1-yl]octyl]-4,4-dimethoxy-L-proline.
