A sodium styrenesulfonate/2-(amino)ethylmethacrylate (9/1 monomer ratio) copolymer was prepared as described in Example 11 with the following exception: 37 grams of sodium styrenesulfonate and 3.31 grams of 2-(amino)ethylmethacrylate hydrochloride were used, and after adding the methanol the mixture was allowed to stand overnight.
