Following the general procedure of EXAMPLE 15 and making noncritical variations but starting with 3a-methyl-7-[2-(5-hydroxy-2-methylphenyl)-ethyl]-3-(2-hydroxyethylidene)-octahydro-5H-inden-5-one (EXAMPLE 13) and using carbon tetrabromide in place of carbon tetrachloride, the title compound is obtained, MS (EI) 392 and 390; NMR (CDCl3) 0.94, 1.61-2.1, 2.20, 2.3-2.8, 2.94, 4.0-4.2, 4.9, 5.4-5.5, 6.5-6.7 and 6.99 δ.
