Reaction Steps
Following General Procedure C and using N-(3,5-difluorophenylacetyl)-L-alanine (from Example B2 above) and methyl 2-aminoisobutyrate (prepared from 2-aminoisobutyric acid (Aldrich) using General Procedure H), the title compound was prepared as a solid. The reaction was monitored by tlc (Rf=0.25 in CHCl3/MeOH 95:5).
