Reaction Steps
Following General Procedure C and using N-(3,5-difluorophenylacetyl)-L-alanine (from Example B2 above) and methyl 2-amino-2-(benzothiophen-3-yl)acetate (prepared from 2-amino-2-(benzothiophen-3-yl)acetic acid [CAS 95834-94-9] using General Procedure H), the title compound was prepared as a solid (mp=185-186° C.).
