Following General Procedure C and using N-(3,5-difluorophenylacetyl)-L-alanine (from Example B2 above) and methyl 2-amino-2-(3-trifluoromethylphenyl)acetate (prepared from 2-(hydroxyimino)-2-(3-trifluoromethylphenyl)acetic acid [CAS 179811-81-5] using General Procedures G and R above), the title compound was prepared as a solid (mp=133-134° C.). The product was purified by tituration from EtOAc/hexanes.
