The title compound was prepared in a similar manner to that described in Example 11 from 3-bromo-7-chloroimidazo[1,2-α]pyridine and 3-[3-(tri-n-butylstannanyl)phenyl]pyridine. Oxalate salt, white crystalline solid, m.p. 178-180° C. (EtOH). 1H NMR (360 MHz, d6-DMSO) δH 7.05 (1H, dd, J 7 and 2), 7.50-7.56 (1H, m), 7.67-7.89 (4H, m), 7.96 (1H, s), 8.01 (1H, s), 8.21 (1H, d, J 7), 8.61 (1H, d, J 4), 8.70 (1H, d, J 7), 9.02 (1H, d, J 2); m/z (ES+) 306 (M++H).
