Reaction Steps
20 g of D-mannose and 35 g of tetradecylamine were reacted as described in Example 45 to give N-tetradecyl-mannopyranosylamine. In a second reaction step, the glycosylamine (7.5 g) was reacted with 6.0 g of oleoyl chloride as described in Example 11 to give the glycosylamide.
