Procedure
2.9 g (0.01 mol) of 2-(4-Chlorosulphonyl-phenyl)-imidazo[1,2-a]pyrimidine are suspended in 60 ml of a 40% solution of dimethylamine in water. The mixture is heated to 50° C. for 30 minutes, diluted with 50 ml of water, extracted with ethyl acetate, then the ethyl acetate extract is dried and evaporated to dryness. The residue is recrystallised from dimethylformamide.
