(+,−) Cis propane-2-sulfonic acid [2-(4-iodo-phenyl)-cyclopentyl]-amide (150 mg, 0.38 mmol, prepared in example 17) was treated with 4-cyanophenyl boronic acid (56 mg, 0.38 mmol), palladium tetrakis triphenylphosphine (22 mg, 0.02 mmol) and cesium carbonate (150 mg, 0.46) under nitrogen in 10 mL of degassed dioxane. The reaction was heated to 85° C. and stirred overnight. The reaction was concentrated in vacuo and purified by radial chromatography eluting with 30:70 ethyl acetate:hexanes to give 12 mg (9%) of the title compound as a white solid. The NMR was consistent with the assigned structure.
