Reaction Steps
Material from Example 3 was heated at reflux in a solution of methanol/sulfuric acid for 18 h. The solution was concentrated to remove the methanol and the resulting aqueous solution was extracted with chloroform to yield the title compound. ESMS (M+H)+=374.2.
