1-{5-(8-Tetracyclo[4.4.0.12,5.17,10]dodecen-3-yl)pentyl}-cyclopentanol (yield: 82%) was obtained in the same manner as in Synthesis Example 1, except that cyclopentanone and 1-chloro-5-(8-tetracyclo[4.4.0.12,5.17,10] dodecen-3-yl)pentane were used in place of acetone and 1-chloro-4-(5-norbornen-2-yl)butane, respectively.
