Versuchsvorschrift

A mixture of 5-[(R)-2-{benzyl-[2-(4-nitrophenyl)ethyl]amino}-1-(tert-butyldimethylsilanyloxy)ethyl]-8-benzyloxy-1H-quinolin-2-one (3.00 g, 4.52 mmol); iron (2.52 g, 45.2 mmol) and iron(II) chloride tetrahydrate (0.18 g, 0.90 mmol) in EtOH (27.3 mL) and AcOH (9.09 mL) was stirred at 80° C. overnight. The reaction mixture was filtered through a pad of Celite, washing with EtOAc (20 mL). The organic layer was washed with brine (10 mL), dried over sodium sulfate, filtered and concentrated under reduced pressure to give the title compound, which was used without any further purification.
