Versuchsvorschrift

To ((S)-2-oxo-2,3,4,5-tetrahydro-1H-benzo[b][1,4]diazepin-3-yl)-carbamic acid tert-butyl ester (Intermediate 2) (57.9 mg, 0.209 mmol) and triethylamine (29.1 μL, 0.209 mmol) in anhydrous THF (1 mL) was added terephthaloyl dichloride (21.2 mg, 0.104 mmol). The resulting suspension was stirred at room temperature for 4 h. The mixture was concentrated and the residue was triturated with water. The solid was collected, washed with water and purified by silica gel chromatography to provide tert-butyl N-[(3S)-5-[4-[(3S)-3-(tert-butoxycarbonylamino)-2-oxo-3,4-dihydro-1H-1,5-benzodiazepine-5-carbonyl]benzoyl]-2-oxo-3,4-dihydro-1H-1,5-benzodiazepin-3-yl]carbamate as a white solid (27.6 mg, 39%).
