Versuchsvorschrift

A solution of 3.64 g of 1-(anilinocarbonylmethyl)-4-methoxymethoxypiperidine in 10 ml of tetrahydrofuran was added to a suspension of 630 mg of lithium aluminum hydride in 50 ml of tetrahydrofuran. The mixture was refluxed for 3 hours. To the reaction mixture were added 1.5 ml of an aqueous solution containing 10% of potassium hydroxide and 1.5 ml of water. The mixture was diluted with ethyl acetate, and the dilution was filtered. The solvent in the filtrate was removed by distillation to obtain 3.41 g of 1-(2-anilinoethyl)-4-methoxymethoxypiperidine.
