According to Method L, (S)-7-[4-(6-methoxy-1-oxo-1H-isoquinolin-2-yl)-phenyl]-2,7-diaza-spiro[4.4]nonane-2-carboxylic acid tert-butyl ester was treated with hydrogen bromide. In this way the product was obtained with molecular weight 361.45 (C22H23N3O2); MS (ESI): 362 (M+H+).
