Versuchsvorschrift

An interesting extension of the above systems is the preparation and use of a pteridine-based monomer. Such an example is 2,4-diamino-6-vinylpteridine (XIII). This molecule is synthesised in five synthetic steps, from -chloropyruvaldoxime, in 15% yield following the method of Taylor & Kobayashi (J. Org. Chem., 38, 2187-2821 (1973)). 6.
