Procedure

A mixture of 5-methyl-4-phenyl-thiazol-2-ylamine (300 mg, 1.58 mmol) and 2-bromoethyl methyl ether (300 μL, 3.20 mmol) was processed using the method described in Example 12A to provide the title compound.
