The mixture was then boiled for 3 hours under reflux after which it was cooled to 0° C. After half an hour, the product which had precipitated was filtered off. 59 g (64% of theory) of 1-isopropyl-1,6-dihydro-3-hydroxy-6-oxo-pyridazine were thus obtained in the form of colorless crystals of melting point 148° C.
