The title compound was prepared from 4-methyl-3-oxo-pentanoic acid ethyl ester and 3,5-dichloro-benzamidine hydrochloride according to general procedure 1. 1H NMR (DMSO-d6, 400 MHz) δ 1.20-1.26 (m, 6H), 2.80-2.90 (m, 1H), 6.34 (s, 1H), 7.82(s, 1H), 8.18 (s, 2H), 12.50 (br s,1H); MS: m/z (ESI) 283 (M+H).
