Procedure

Reaction of 2-[5-amino-2-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]-5-n-butyl-4-[[2'-(N-t-butylsulfamoyl)biphenyl-4-yl]methyl]-2,4-dihydro-3H-1,2,4-triazol-3-one (from Step D) with propionyl bromide (2 equivalents) in the presence of DMAP (1 equiv) according to the procedure of Example 69 gave a 67% yield of the title compound; homogeneous by TLC in 95:5 CH2Cl2 --MeOH.
