Sodium cyanoborohydride (0.364 g, 5.79 mmol) was added and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 18 h. The mixture was concentrated and the residue was treated with water (2 mL) and extracted with DCM (3×). The extract was dried (Na2SO4) and concentrated. The residue was purified using column chromatography (silica gel, 0 to 100% EtOAc/hexanes) to give 730 mg of product as pale yellow oil.
