使用2-Bromopropene is used as a solvent and as an intermediate for organic synthesis. It is also used as a fumigant. Further, it reacts with nonanal to prepare 2-methyl-undec-1-en-3-ol using chromium(II) chloride as a reagent. It is utilized as a refrigerant used in organic synthesis.
