実験手順

In a 100 mL round bottom flask, aldehyde (207) (100 mg, 0.337 mmol) and anthracene-9-carboxaldehyde (349 mg, 1.69 mmol) were dissolved in 10 mL THF and cooled to 0° C. Lithium hexamethyldisilylamide (LHMDS) (370 μL, 0.370 mmol) was added dropwise, and the solution was stirred at room temperature for 16 hours. The reaction was quenched with 5 mL of saturated aqueous ammonium chloride. The aqueous layer was extracted with ether (3×10 mL), and the pooled organic extracts were washed with brine (10 mL), dried (MgSO4) and then concentrated. Flash chromatography of the residue (0-25% EtOAc/hexanes) gave (269) (127.9 mg, 78%). 1H NMR (CDCl3) δ 1.45 (s, 3 H) 2.19 (m, 1 H) 2.35 (m, 2 H) 2.47 (m, 1 H) 3.04 (d, J=16.11 Hz, 1 H) 3.15 (d, J=16.11 Hz, 1 H) 6.25 (s, 1 H) 7.13 (t, J=8.55 Hz, 2 H) 7.47 (m, 6 H) 7.55 (s, 1 H) 7.87 (m, 1 H) 8.00 (m, 3 H) 8.39 (s, 1 H) 8.43 (s, 1 H); 13C NMR (CDCl3) 23.5, 27.2, 29.7, 30.2, 49.4, 110.4, 114.0, 115.9, 116.1, 125.0, 125.1, 125.2, 125.3, 125.5, 126.1, 127.5, 128.8, 128.9, 128.9, 129.0, 129.7, 131.1, 131.1, 135.5, 135.7, 135.7, 136.4, 138.5, 139.1, 145.2, 160.2, 162.6, 202.8.
