実験手順

Prepared according to Procedure B with 1i (2.0 g, 6.20 mmol) and chloroacetyl chloride (1.5 mL, 18.6 mmol) in acetic acid (30 mL). Purified by chromatography in CH2Cl2, followed by recrystallization from isopropanol to afford 1.44 g of an off-white solid (61%). 1H NMR (CDCl3) δ: 7.61-7.64 (m, 1H); 7.58-7.59 (m, 1H); 7.54-7.57 (m, 2H); 7.52-7.53 (m, 1H); 7.45-7.52 (m, 2H); 7.24 (s, 5H); 3.92-4.03 (m, 2H). MS (ES): m/z 381.0 (M+).
