200 mg (0.53 mmol) of trans-Methansulfonic acid 5[-4-(tert-butoxy carbonyl-methyl-amino)-cyclohexyl)-pentyl ester, dissolved in 2 ml of CH2Cl2, was treated with 2 ml of TFA. After stirring for 20 min at RT, the solution was concentrated in vacuo to yield 245 mg of pure trans-Methansulfonic acid 5-(4-methyl amino-cyclohexyl)-pentylester.trifluoroacetic acid salt, MS: 278 (MH+).
