Reaction Steps
In an analogous manner to that described in Example 1(g), by alkylating tert-butyl (3RS,4RS)-4-benzo[1,3]dioxol-5-yl-3-(naphthalen-2-ylmethoxy)-piperidine-1-carboxylate [Example 8(f)] with 2-bromomethyl-benzonitrile there was obtained tert-butyl (3RS,4RS)-4-benzo[1,3]dioxol-5-yl-3-(2-cyano-benzyloxy)-piperidine-1-carboxylate as colourless crystals; MS: 455 (M+H)+.
