The compound 8 (450 mg, 1.2 mmol) was converted to the enol ether with 1-methoxycyclooctene (1.51 g, 12 mmol) in the same manner as the example 10 to give the compound 11 (405 mg, 70%) as oil. Rf 0.50 (Al2O3 60, Type E, 10:1 toluene -EtOAc).
