Reaction Steps
1-(tert-Butoxycarbonyl)-4-(1H-benzimidazol-1-yl)piperidine (192 mg) was dissolved in dichloromethane (1.9 ml), added with trifluoroacetic acid (1.9 ml) and stirred at room temperature for 1 hour. The solvent was evaporated under reduced pressure and added with diisopropyl ether, and then the produced crystals were collected by filtration to obtain 200 mg of the title compound. Yield: 100%.
