A suspension of 4-[2-(5-Chloro-2-fluoro-phenyl)-6,6-dimethyl-6,7-dihydro-5H-cyclopentapyrimidin-4-ylamino]-nicotinic acid (25 mg, 60.56 μmol) and carbonyl-diimidazole (20 mg, 121.11 μmol) in dry DMF (3 mL) was heated at 70° C. for 1 h and then cooled to r.t. A stream of NH3 gas was passed through the solution for 30 min., giving clean conversion to the amide product. Evaporation of the solution, followed by HPLC purification gave, after lyophilization, the pure amide of formula (62) as the TFA salt (20 mg).
