35 mg of tert-butyl((1S)-1-{4-[1-hydroxy-2-(4-methylpiperazin-1-yl) ethyl]phenyl}ethyl)carbamate [8-1] (hereinafter, referred to as the compound [8-1]) was obtained as a colorless oily product from 30 mg of the compound [7-2] and 2 mL of N-methylpiperizine according to the method of Example 7-(3).
