Reaction Steps

To a solution of 2-[(2-methylbutyl)oxy]-8-methoxy-9-(tetrahydro-2H-pyran-2-yl)-9H-purin-6-amine (199 mg) in dry MeOH (1.99 mL) was added TFA (0.199 mL). The mixture was stirred at room temperature for 24 h. The reaction was concentrated in vacuo to give a yellow residue. The residue was triturated with Et2O and was filtered to give the title compound as an off-white solid (111 mg).
