A mixture of 4-nitro-N-[3-(5,6-dimethoxy-1H-benzimidazol-2-yl)-1H-pyrazol-4-yl]-2-ethoxy-benzamide (115 mg) and 10% Pd/C (20 mg) in EtOH (10 mL) was stirred under a hydrogen atmosphere for 2 h at r.t. The mixture was filtered through Celite and reduced in vacuo to give the title compound (95 mg). (LC/MS: Rt 2.11, [M+H]+ 423).
