Compound 301 (0.025, 0.05 mmol) was dissolved in THF (2 mL) and 1 M HCl (0.2 mL) was added. The solution was kept at room temperature for 3 h after which the solution was concentrated in vacuo. This afforded the title compound. 1H NMR (CDCl3) δ 7.36 (d, 1H), 7.22 (dd, 1H), 7.18 (d, 1H), 7.10 (d, 1H), 7.06-6.88 (m, 3H), 6.87-6.77 (m, 2H), 5.89 (bs, 1H), 4.05 (m, 1H), 3.95 (m, 2H), 3.85-3.65 (m, 2H), 2.46 (s, 3H), 2.25 (s, 3H)
