Procedure

35.8 μl (0.35 mmol) of 30% strength hydrogen peroxide are added to a solution, cooled to 0° C., of 110 mg (0.29 mmol) of N-[(3R)-1-azabicyclo[2.2.2]oct-3-yl]-7-(2-methoxyphenyl)-1-benzofuran-2-carboxamide (Example 130) in 2 ml of methanol. After 18 h at room temperature, a further 35.8 μl (0.35 mmol) of 30% strength hydrogen peroxide are added. After a further 18 h at room temperature, the reaction solution is concentrated, and the residue is dried under high vacuum. 111.5 mg (97.2% of theory) of the title compound are obtained.
